SLOW FASHION

When you buy a Maison Aldabaran scarf, the carbon footprint is much lower than that of products manufactured on the other side of the world, more respectful of the environment. Indeed, it will have traveled much fewer kilometers to arrive at your home than a product manufactured and purchased abroad. We are proud to favor slow fashion, more humane and respectful. For the manufacture of our scarves, between 4 and 6 weeks are necessary.

By purchasing a Maison Aldabaran scarf, you can be sure that it is made in working conditions that respect people.
At Maison Aldabaran, you know that you are buying French and this gesture allows the promotion of excellent and high-end companies. All our scarves are hand-rolled, according to Lyonnais know-how.

The choice of the manufacture

Responsible manufacturing involves, above all, the choice of material and the choice of the manufacturing workshop.

For the printing and manufacturing of our scarves, we work closely with a family-run Lyonnaise manufacturer of excellence, renowned for its silks since 1939 and with a high-end positioning. Labeled OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, this manufacturer has certification and control at each stage of processing of raw materials and printing inks, they are free of chemicals for both health and the environment.

The packaging

Each Maison Aldabaran silk scarf is delivered in an FSC-certified cardboard gift box. The Forest Stewardship Council is an international NGO whose mission is to promote ecological, social and economic management of forests and meets the social, economic, ecological, cultural and spiritual needs of current and future generations.

To limit our carbon footprint, we ship our scarves in recyclable envelopes or in FSC-certified shipping boxes if multiple scarves are ordered.

Our gift boxes are also protected in an organic cotton pouch, to allow you to store or take your scarf as you wish.
